Influenced by bands like Led Zeppelin, The Who and The Doors, the band evolved from a 60s beat-group into a 70s rock band. This album includes one of their biggest hits: Back Home (#1 in the Netherlands, #15 in Germany). Golden Earring archivist and reissue producer Wouter Bessels requested Artone Studio to cut an all-analog cut (AAA), when a playback of the original analog master tape on a Studer A80 machine was cut direct to lacquer on a Neumann VMS-70 lathe. This release marks the first AAA cut of a classic Golden Earring album. The direct-to-disc technique allows a faithful representation of the full musical range and dynamics present on the original tape, without any additional equalization and/or digital processing. Golden Earring (Wall Of Dolls) is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on translucent yellow vinyl and contains an insert with liner notes.

Yellow and Blue

The Loner

This Is the Time of the Year

Big Tree, Blue Sea

The Wall of Dolls

Back Home

See See

I'm Going to Send My Pigeons to the Sky

As Long As the Wind Blows

Label: Music on Vinyl

Catalog: 6204506

Genre: Rock

https://mus.uy/products/golden-earring-golden-earring-wall-of-dolls-limited-180-gram-translucent-yellow-vinyl
