Originally released in 2003, Twist of Fate marked the return of legendary vocalist John Arch, the iconic voice behind the first three Fates Warning albums. This powerful EP captures the same spirit and complexity that defined those early progressive metal classics. Featuring Jim Matheos (Fates Warning) on guitars, Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater) on drums, and Joey Vera (Armored Saint) on bass, the chemistry between these master musicians is undeniable. This 45 RPM Turquoise vinyl edition sounds absolutely stunning, mastered specifically for vinyl by Rob Colwell (King's X, Voivod, Nevermore). The release includes a 12x12 full-color insert featuring lyrics and rare studio photos, along with extensive liner notes that are easy to read and provide insight into the creation of this progressive metal gem.Running nearly 28 minutes, Twist of Fate is a vital chapter in the story of progressive metal-essential listening for fans of Fates Warning, Dream Theater, and Armored Saint.
