Includes an insert featuring insightful liner notes by Kevin Le GendreAreski and Brigitte Fontaine, the legendary duo of French avant-garde music, redefined songwriting with their fearless experimentation and poetic lyricism. L'Incendie (1973) is one of their most striking works-an evocative, genre-blurring masterpiece that fuses North African folk, Brazilian rhythms, and subversive French chanson. With 13 vivid, theatrical compositions, L'Incendie ignites stories of love, war, personal turmoil, and societal conflict, peeling back the layers of post-war France. Their esoteric yet emotionally charged sound creates an atmosphere as unpredictable as fire itself. Now remastered in a premium edition, this essential reissue restores the album's bold textures and haunting beauty with unparalleled clarity. A must-hear for adventurous listeners ready to experience one of the most daring recordings in French music history!
