Charles Bernstein – Rumpelstiltskin (Original Soundtrack)

Terror Vision is thrilled to unveil the inaugural release of Charles Bernstein's (known for his work on Nightmare on Elm Street) score for Rumpelstiltskin," the 1995 film, now available on LP and cassette formats. Bernstein's synth-driven masterpiece seamlessly complements the eerie and suspenseful ambiance of this beloved video rental store classic. For those unfamiliar with the movie's plot, it revolves around Rumpelstiltskin's entrapment within a small jade figurine. In a modern-day Los Angeles setting, a recently widowed police officer's wife, accompanied by her baby, stumbles upon a witch's shop and acquires the said figurine. This seemingly innocent act inadvertently unleashes the cackling beast, who vehemently demands possession of her child. The blending of contemporary Los Angeles with the timeless Rumpelstiltskin tale, resulting in the creature's release in a modern context, injects a fresh and intriguing dimension into the story. This release will undoubtedly delight fans"
