Blessed by a Broken Heart – All Is Fair In Love & War

Originally released in 2004 on the Facedown imprint label, Blood & Ink. Brutal Planet Records rescued this incredibly rare and impossible-to-find album from certain obscurity! Hailing from Canada, BBaBH's later albums would be much AOR and melodic in nature. With their debut All Is Fair... The band flirts with the 80's rock/metal vibe, but ultimately smashes us in the face with a full-on death/metalcore assault that would have Chuck Norris wetting his panties. Expect everything you love about Atreyu, Bleeding Through, and yes... The almighty Motley Crue. The guitars are heavy and moshable, especially in the beginning tracks Another Day/Another War and That Knife Ain't For Butter. There is actually some very melodic singing that evens everything out, like in Some Kind Of Wonderful and Courting Mary. Pick this up for one of the most interesting Christian metal albums ever released! First time ever on vinyl, this is an extreme metal classic - fully remastered for the elite Slime Green color vinyl (1st time!) and includes a 12x12 full color lyrics sheet.
