Dillon Carmichael – Son Of A

Making his sophomore release that much more special, the aptly chosen title track, 'Son of A,' is a tear-jerking highlight and an anthemic thank you" to those who raised him -featuring background vocals by Carmichael's mother. The two took to the Grand Ole Opry stage on Tuesday evening (10.19) to debut the song live, which resulted in an emotional, standing ovation from the packed-out crowd. - Dubbed country music's "most convincing young star since Stapleton" by Rolling Stone, Dillon Carmichael continues his lauded neo-traditional approach to country music, "matching the textures of yesteryear to the melodies of today" (The New York Times) in a seamless and unique fashion with the release of his sophomore album, 'Son of A' - out via Riser House Records."
