Dazzle – Dazzle

Released in 1979, Dazzle is a radiant gem of New York's disco underground, crafted with elegance and unmistakable groove. The album embodies the lush sophistication of late-'70s soul-funk, driven by intricate arrangements and a dazzling sense of rhythm. Conceived by the powerhouse trio of Patrick Adams, Leroy Burgess, and Stan Lucas, the project merges studio mastery with streetwise flair. Dazzle was a one-album studio collective, but it's impact resonates far beyond it's brief discography. Featuring a lineup of seasoned musicians and vocalists-including Jocelyn Brown and Krystal Davis-the ensemble delivers a sound that's rich, layered, and unapologetically glamorous. Dazzle stands out for it's orchestral textures, bold brass sections, and silky vocal harmonies that elevate the listening experience. The production is crisp, the energy magnetic, and the aesthetic pure disco opulence. Ideal for vinyl collectors and DJs seeking rare grooves, this LP remains a cult favorite among connoisseurs. Whether you're rediscovering the era or curating a standout selection, Dazzle offers timeless sophistication with undeniable dancefloor appeal.
