Sobre este disco
Vinilo de Paul Desmond: «Take Ten» (Soundsgood · 2025 · LP · Limited Edition with Bonus Tracks).
Paul Desmond's saxophone style was cool, subtle and often romantic. This fit well with the guitar style of Jim Hall, and from 1959 to 1965 they made a wonderful series of albums together, among them Take Ten, presented here in it's entirety, which focuses of bossa nova-like tunes. The title tune follows the path of Desmond's celebrated composition Take Five, which he had recorded with the Dave Brubeck Quartet on the iconic Time Out LP.
