Doom – Incompetent...

Doom's unique avant-garde sound transcends genres, captivating fans across genres. Theirthird major album, 'Incompetent...,' has finally been reissued as a remastered 2-disc vinyl set!Since their debut in 1986, Doom have captivated fans across generations, nationalities, and genres with their unique, unparalleled sound. This third full-length album, 'Incompetent...,' marks their third major label release. Released as an 11-track CD and a nine-track LP, this time the full 11-track album is being reissued on vinyl (including the first vinyl release of 'Sympathy For The Devil' and 'Desert Flower').The demos were completed in Japan, and the recording took place at New York's Waterfront Studios (as with the previous album, engineered by Steve Linsley). Recorded over a two-month stay in New York, in a spacious, warehouse-like studio, with equipment and methods different from those used in Japan, this album delivers a dry, inorganic sound (several live shows were also held in New York at the time). Even among Doom's works, this one evokes their roots, with a strong '70s hard rock influence.Song ListA1. I Can't Go Back To MyselfA2. Eating It RawA3. 20th Century A Proud ManB1. Killing TimeB2.
