Bryan Ferry – The Jazz Age

Limited green vinyl LP pressing. Step into a world where classic art-pop meets the roaring 1920s. The Jazz Age reimagines Bryan Ferry's Roxy?Music and solo catalog as elegant jazz instrumentals, presented by the Bryan Ferry Orchestra. From Virginia Plain" and "Do the Strand" to "Love Is the Drug" and "Avalon," each track is transformed through authentic 1920s-style arrangements featuring banjo, clarinet, muted trumpet, baritone sax, and double bass, crafted by renowned arranger Colin?Good. Top UK jazz players, including trumpeter Enrico?Tomasso and saxophonist Alan?Barnes, bring these timeless melodies to life, while mono-style production evokes the charm of vintage 78?RPM recordings. Ferry himself steps back from vocals to serve as conductor and producer, curating this inventive project born from his love of jazz and curiosity about how his songs would stand without singing"
