Institute – Distort Yourself

INSTITUTE / DISTORT YOURSELF (2LP Gatefold / 180g)

Institute marks the powerful creative detour Gavin Rossdale embarked on in 2004 during a break from BUSH - a move that sparked one of the most compelling chapters in his career. Joined by guitarist Chris Traynor (now a core member of BUSH), bassist Cache Tolman, and legendary drummer Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle, Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters), the lineup reads like a who’s who of alternative heavy rock.

Produced by Page Hamilton of Helmet, the album carries his unmistakable guitar-driven edge, adding even more weight to an already explosive sound. Long celebrated by fans as a hidden gem in the extended Bush universe, this record finally returns to physical format after years out of print - ready to reclaim its place in any serious rock collection.

Featuring the standout singles “Bulletproof Skin” and “Come On Over”, this definitive edition also includes four bonus tracks, making it the ultimate version for Gavin Rossdale devotees and Bush loyalists alike.
