Ironmaster – Weapons Of Spiritual Carnage

Ever wondered what it feels like to be smacked in the face by music? Ironmaster's new album Weapons Of Spiritual Carnage" will provide you with just that experience. The Swedish group brings you an album that is both heavy and melodic. It presents the listener with sonic gut punches and anvil breaking drum hits with carefully placed slower (and at times, almost prog like) melodies, as if just to give you a welcome breather from the high velocity experience of the album. Lyrics written by Edvin Skårud dealing with death, cruelty and the dark side of life make for a perfect accommodation to the atmosphere the album brings. "Weapons Of Spiritual Carnage" is the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut "Thy Ancient Fire". It brings out the best of black, death and thrash metal performed with top tier musicianship supported by high quality production courtesy of the bands own Jonas Kjellgren. The album has a strong focus on the album format and in conjunction with the high-quality material, musicianship and production, makes listening to the album front to back an enjoyable experience."
