Recorded live at the Fillmore in 1968, this album captures It's a Beautiful Day during the formative days of the San Francisco psychedelic scene. Blending rock, folk, jazz, and classical influences, the band delivers expansive performances that highlight their distinctive sound and improvisational approach. Featuring early versions of fan favorites including White Bird," "Time Is," and "Bombay Calling," this collection offers a rare snapshot of a group that helped define the spirit of the late-'60s West Coast music movement."
