Sobre este disco
Vinilo de Ady Johnson: «Tell the Worry Dolls» (Little Robin Records · 2026 · LP).
15th Anniversary Remaster Edition - First Time On Vinyl. 'Tell the Worry Dolls' first arrived in 2011. Recorded predominantly live in the studio, the acoustic debut is firmly rooted in folk, blues and soul but with an off-kilter pop sensibility. Each of the songs on Ady's debut release express some kind of worry, concern or angst; in committing these songs to the album, I like to think I've finally completed the cathartic process you go through as a singer/songwriter - much like the folklore which surrounds the Guatemalan Worry Dolls; you tell the dolls your worries before you go to sleep and in the morning you find that they've taken them away.Kitchen-sink romanticism worthy of Ray Davies. - 8/10 Americana UK
