Sobre este disco
Vinilo de Little Richards: «Bama Lama Bama Loo» (Sympathy 4 the R.I. · 2015 · LP).
Vinyl LP pressing. 2015 release, the first album by San Diego's The Little Richards. A super group, playing the super songs of the super man... Richard Wayne Penniman. Men & Women paying homage to the True Quasar of rock ‘n’ roll. Their live show is a blur of polka dots, 2-tone shoes and choreographed moves. Their debut recordings are rock ‘n’ roll 101 straight from a So-Cal garage. Bama Lama, Bama Loo is an audible mystery/history lesson. The Little Richards put the past(s) on top of the originators original foundation, piling on punk, blues, garage, funk, glam and psychotic roller rink. The Ramones play Plastic Bertrand, Screaming Jay Hawkins meets Prince at a fuzz pedal ‘50s sock hop, The Muffs doing X doing Jerry Lee Lewis, The MC5 blow up James Brown, ‘70s glam via the New York Dolls kisses Creedence Clearwater Revival at the swamp stomp. Not a mash up! It's just the way they play!
