Yves Montand – Essential

180-Gram Vinyl Limited Gatefold Edition. This release presents some of the best songs recorded by the inimitable Yves Montand (1921-1991), one of the true perennial voices of French song. Discovered by Édith Piaf in Paris in 1944 (she made him part of her act), Montand garnered international popularity as a singer and actor, starring in numerous films.
