Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. This sleek, beautifully paced Lee Morgan album was recorded in 1966 but mysteriously shelved until 1984. Alongside the trumpeter, the quintet features a superb lineup - Hank Mobley (tenor sax)/Cedar Walton (piano)/Paul Chambers (bass)/Billy Higgins (drums) - all playing at the top of their game. Highlights include the Duke Pearson gem Is That So" and the enticing title track penned by Morgan. Blue Note Tone Poet Series features all-analog, remastered 180-gram vinyl in deluxe gatefold packaging."
