The Murlocs – Rapscallion [Sardine Bath]

Vinyl LP pressing. 2022 release. A coming-of-age novel in album form, Rapscallion is populated with an outrageous cast of misfit characters (teenage vagabonds, small-time criminals, junkyard dwellers, truck-stop transients) and marks a major creative leap and the most magnificently heavy work yet from The Murlocs. Led by Ambrose Kenny-Smith, the band instills these 12 hypnotic, volatile rock songs with the freewheeling energy they've brought on tour supporting Pixies, Stephen Malkmus, Ty Segall and Thee Oh Sees.
