Omd ( Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark ) – Crush: 40th Anniversary Deluxe

Throughout the first half of the 1980s, OMD had consistently led the way in uniquely intuitive synth-pop, scoring hit after hit in the UK and Europe (Enola Gay, Souvenir, Maid of Orleans, etc.) and creating perfectly realized albums that combined sonic innovation with an innate understanding of the inner workings of pop music (Organisation, Architecture and Morality, Dazzle Ships).
