Pony Gold – High Road Reverie

Pony Gold's songs feel like they've been carved out of the Telkwa High Road she grew up on, winding, rugged, unforgettable. Theresa Anne Bromley writes with the weight of small-town roots and the fire of someone who fought her way out, blending alt- country, folk, and soul into something both timeless and raw.High Road Reverie is her arrival: an 11-song debut album produced by Leeroy Stagger and featuring members of City & Colour alongside acclaimed fiddler Kendel Carson. The record firmly establishes Pony Gold as a compelling new voice on the international roots music stage, following in the traditions of Lucinda Williams and Brandi Carlile. The High Road Reverie LP is pressed on 180g black vinyl with full colour insert and comes with a signed art postcard, a personal keepsake from Bromley herself. The record is a tangible piece of her story, scarce by design and destined for collectors. This isn't a record that sits quietly on a shelf. It's one that asks to be played, held, and passed on. High Road Reverie is for anyone who believes in the kind of songs that meet you where you are, and stay with you long after the last note fades.
