School of Violence – We the People...?

Originally released in 1988 by Death Records, a division of Metal Blade, We The People...? by School of Violence stands as one of the fiercest and most intelligent crossover albums of the decade. Brutal Planet Records proudly presents the first-ever official vinyl reissue-fully licensed from Metal Blade Records, remastered by Rob Colwell (Voivod, Nevermore, Helstar), and supported by the surviving band members. This deluxe edition is pressed on limited blood-red vinyl and includes a full-color 12x12 lyrics insert, capturing the spirit and fury of the original release.Featuring vocalist Karl Agell, who would later front Corrosion of Conformity's groundbreaking Blind album, School of Violence combined the chaos of punk and the precision of thrash into a sound that still resonates with crushing clarity. Guitarist Stegmon von Heintz contributes a brand-new 2025 reflection, honoring the band's legacy and the lives of fallen members, and this reissue also restores the original 1988 Metal Blade Records band bio for historical depth. Most importantly, this edition includes only the tracks approved by the band-correcting the missteps of an earlier import reissue that added unauthorized material against the wishes of both the group and the label.Part of Brutal Planet's exclusive Metal Icon Series, We The People...? is essential listening for fans of D.R.I., M.O.D., Exciter, Whiplash, Carnivore, Discharge, Venom, and Motörhead. Loud, raw, and razor-focused, this record remains a defiant and vital document of the underground.
