Sly & the Family Stone – Fresh

Sly And The Family Stone - FRESH - Neon Orange Vinyl - 50th Anniversary Edition. Part of RSD Essentials. Sly & the Family Stone - Fresh - Sly & the Family Stone's sixth studio album, Fresh" was released in 1973 and has since been regarded as one of the most influential funk albums of all time. The album features the band's signature blend of funk, rock, and soul, and includes the notable hit singles such as, "If You Want Me to Stay" and "Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be)." "Fresh" marks a departure from the band's earlier, more psychedelic sound, and incorporates a more stripped-down, groove-focused approach that would influence generations of funk and R&B musicians to come. With it's infectious rhythms, funky bass lines, and socially conscious lyrics, "Fresh" is widely regarded as a classic of the funk genre and a testament to Sly & the Family Stone's enduring legacy. This limited-edition LP was pressed on neon orange vinyl."
