Vinyl LP pressing. Back by popular demand, this Funky Delicacies top seller features rare, early 70's recordings by New Orleans legendary jazz funkateers, The Gaturs. Veteran New Orleans keyboard player Willie Tee piloted this incredible band of funkateers who wove jazz and street rhythms into their Meters-styled funk. These 1970s recordings are legendary in acid jazz circles, and now the abundance of rare riffs and breakbeats within the songs have caught the attention of hip hop fans as well. Packed with previously unreleased material and bonus tracks, this disc will appeal to fans of soul, funk, jazz and hip hop!
