Various Artists – Turkish Delight Volume Three (Various Artists)

Turkish Delights Volume Three" celebrates the absolute joy that Escape Music co-owner Khalil Turk has for the kind of music he loves and has championed for over thirty years. His enthusiasm for discovering new bands and songs remains as vibrant today as it was in the mid-1980s, often sharing exciting finds over the phone during his record-buying trips. This package, as Khalil would say, is something you'll love. Featuring new material from Fredrik Folkare (Eclipse), Peter Hallgren, Steve Mann (MSG/Lionheart/OuseyMann), Steve Overland (FM/Lonerider), Robin McAuley (MSG/Black Swan), Mick Devine, and Chris Childs (Thunder/Lonerider), the album also showcases an impressive lineup of musicians including Steve Walsh (Kansas), James LaBrie (Dream Theatre), Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), Howard Leese (Heart/Bad Company), Billy Sheehan (Talas/Mr. Big), Ralf Sheepers (Primal Fear), Jeff Pilson (Foreigner), Kent Hilli, Kee Marcello (Europe), Andrew Freeman (Great White), Josh Devine (One Direction), Dino Jelusick (Trans Siberian Orchestra), Jerome Mazza (Pinnacle Point), Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake), Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath), Chuck Wright (House of Lords), Laurence Archer (Thin Lizzy), and Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot), among others. Over thirty years since Escape Music's first release-Heartland's "III" in November 1995-this collection, personally curated by Khalil, reflects his enduring passion for music. Having entered the industry in the early 1990s as a talent scout for Long Island Records, Khalil later co-founded Escape Music with Barrie Kirtley, releasing hundreds of albums from acts like AXE, Steve Walsh, John Elefante, Lonerider, Shadowman, Alliance, and many more, along with notable reissues. Thanks to Khalil's unwavering quality control, Escape Music continues to thrive, delivering consistent releases of hard rock, melodic rock, and AOR to a devoted fanbase."
