Wandering Hearts – Deja Vu (We Have All Been Here Before)

The Wandering Hearts are a British Americana-Folk bandknown for their enchanting harmonies and heartfeltsongwriting influenced by the likes of Simon & Garfunkel,Fleetwood Mac, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and have asimilar sound to The Lumineers and First Aid Kit. Theirnew album, Déjà Vu (We've All Been Here Before), is abeautiful re-work of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young's1970 hit album of the same name.Recorded in one week in Joshua Tree, Taurus RisingStudios. This isn't an album out to besmirch the original, but to become a loving companion without being anoverly reverential copy. With a band as distinctive andexciting as The Wandering Hearts, a note-for-notefacsimile was never an option. One listen to how TheWandering Hearts have taken Déjà Vu's ten songs to newplaces and reimagined it over 50 years later, and it's clearthis is a very bold, very new work by one of Britain's mostaccomplished Americana artists.
